Hi everyone! My name is Johanas, and I’ve been with Salem Scuba since 2005, when I first became an Open Water Diver. I’ve loved it ever since and now am proud to say that all five of my children, my wife, and my mother-in-law are all certified divers! I became an instructor in the summer of 2021 so that I could share my passion of the ocean, and all its wonders, with others who share a desire to explore the unknown.
I’m a computer geek in the other half of my life and currently work for Doty Pruitt Wilson as a Client Concierge! That’s a fancy way of saying that I work hard to make sure that our clients are happy and well taken care of during their interactions with the company.
I love working with the customers at work and I love helping new divers experience the different world of diving! One of my favorite parts of being a Scuba Instructor is seeing the excitement that divers have when they complete a skill in open water, or when they see something new.
