Join Salem Scuba DEA and Johanas & Co. for a fun new twist on pumpkin carving!
If you’re still carving your pumpkin on land, it’s time to take it up a notch and carve your pumpkin underwater! That’s right! We take the whole pumpkin for a dive with us, before we make our first cut.
We will be meeting at Whalen Island in Pacific City on October 22, 2022 for our Second Annual Underwater Pumpkin carving contest!
We had a great time last year, and are excited about another chance for people to show off their talents! After you’re done diving, we’ll vote on the pumpkins with prizes provided by Salem Scuba DEA and then share a potluck.
What to Bring:
- $10.00 for parking fee
- Pumpkin
- Carving utensil(s)
- Spoon or scraper for emptying pumpkin guts
- Mesh bag for pumpkin guts
- Dive gear
- Potluck item to share if you’d like
